Breakfast sandwiches here are delicious! We got the sausage sandwich and then the egg and bacon on brioche. I will say.. the sandwich on brioche needs some kind of sauce. It has a scallion butter but that’s not really a sauce. It was still delicious though. Vanilla latte also Oh their baked goods are a must as well!! It’s in a super cute area in the Funk zone. Would definitely go back!

Warning: The menu rotates. Don't look at photos and be set on something like I did. I didn't get french toast which I was disgruntled with but knew once I got try something else I'd get over it Loved the southern chicken sandwich with jalapeno jam and the Pumpkin filled cruffin. The whole place is gorgeous and a great place to vibe.

This place is QUALITY! The bread is a star and the dishes my friends and I tried were so yummy. I got the mushroom toast with a side hashbrown and was so thoroughly impressed. My friend got the spicy chicken sandwich and the chicken was SO crunchy. Would definitely recommend eating here.

Awesome Place! The best brunch restaurant I found on my way to Northern California from SoCal! We stopped by to reflect on my husband's college memories and found it! There's changed a lot and it's busy, so he was surprised. Coffee is delicious and avocadot toast. And yogurt was the best! However, it is a hot place, so you have to line up. But it is worth it. I strongly recommend that it is a must-visit place in Santa Barbara.

The egg sandwich is everything. Fried Chicken sandwich was just okay. Matcha latte a little small. Line was long, space is limited, service was awesome and friendly. Great first stop and introduction to Santa Barbara for us.

Loved this bakery, their sweets were really good. I would come back for their pastries not their coffee. Their service was great, you can see the kitchen, the staff was organized, clean and professional. The place needs a little touch up but I assumed it was a rustic style on purpose, I really enjoyed the theme. I recommend trying their pastries, needs more than one visit to try all their sweets, which I will do. The atmosphere was very positive, calm yet friendly. There’s a bar and wine section, I definitely want to try that part next time. Their plants outside by the entrance was gorgeous, I’m a plant person and their community area is full of them, they shared the area with other restaurants, it is amazing, worth the try. Hopefully you guys enjoy this place and their pastries as much as I did.

One of the many great things about the Helena Avenue Bakery is that it can keep you happy all day long. Start your day here with breakfast, sitting on the umbrellaed patio. Stay long enough or come back a little later and it becomes the Santa Barbara Wine Collective, where you can sip wines to your heart’s delight in the same garden or inside on one of the comfy chairs or at the tasting bar. We shared a tasty ham and cheese breakfast croissant, which perfectly separated into flaky layers, as an excellent croissant should (which probably means ample butter). We also shared an Elvis, which blew us both away. Banana bread smeared with peanut butter, topped with sliced bananas, crowned with several slices of thick-cut dark, crispy bacon, and — wait for it — drizzled with honey. OMG! It registered 11 out of 10 on the taste, decadence, and I’d-start-every-day-with-this-if-I-could scales. Start your day here, end your day here, or both.

Had breakfast at Helena Avenue Bakery and we were very impressed. Everything—from the food to the people working there—made for a great start to the day. The coffee was flavorful. Ordered a chocolate chip cookie to start and it was soft, warm, and full of flavor. The morning bun—kind of like a croissant twist—was something special: light, buttery, and totally unique. Wife ordered the brioche breakfast sandwich, she loved it, and I went for the spicy chicken sandwich and it blew me away—crispy, juicy, and full of bold flavor. They’ve got an awesome variety of breads and pastries in general, all of it looking and tasting super fresh and creative. The staff was great—friendly and on top of everything. They brought over a high chair for our toddler, and the food came out quickly, which was a big plus with a little one. All in all, this spot checks all the boxes. Great food, kind people, and an original vibe. Definitely a place we’ll come back to.
